Introduction to Photothermal Power Generation
Solar Thermal Electricity (STE), also known as Concentrating Solar Power (CSP), or a new solar energy utilization method. It uses a large number of mirrors to collect direct sunlight from the sun in a focused manner, heats and stores the working medium, and then uses the high-temperature working medium to generate high-temperature and high-pressure steam to drive the turbo-generator set to generate electricity. Due to the existence of large-scale heat storage systems, solar thermal power generation can achieve continuous, stable and dispatchable high-quality power output, so it has broad development prospects. Among various forms of photovoltaic power generation technologies, tower molten salt energy storage photovoltaic power generation has become the most mainstream photovoltaic power generation technology route due to its high system efficiency and large cost reduction space.
